We’re Laser-Focused on Creating.

Cutting, engraving and/or marking are the laser methods we provide for your projects.
Well, and our enthusiastic attention to detail.

Are You Wondering How Laser Production Works –and– What Materials You Can Use?

Laser cutting is a subtractive manufacturing technology
that uses a computer to direct the precision laser to follow the cutting line(s) in your design, through the material.

Laser engraving is similar, but instead the laser follows the lines of your design and vaporizes a thin layer of the material surface, exposing a layer below and leaving a burn mark/effect on more ignitable materials such as wood.

Ok, so now you know what “Laser cutting”  –  but what’s the difference between “engraving” and “marking”?

Unlike engraving which removes a portion of the surface, with laser marking, the laser uses heat to discolor the material along  the line of the design. Your design is created with little or no penetration below the surface.

Designs are usually produced from or on flat surface materials. By using a rotary tool, we are able to laser engrave on curved surfaces such as; cups, drinking glasses, and bottles (up to 7.5” diameter).

Although our  machines aren’t  equipped to engrave metal, an alternative process would be to coat the metals with Cermark, a specialized solution for marking. We can then use the laser to produce a durable surface marking/image.

Additionally, unique effects can be added with LED lighting and/or the use of glow-in-the-dark pigments.
